Uwharrie Wampus Cats Announce 2026 Home Schedule in Albemarle
The Uwharrie Wampus Cats have unveiled their 2026 home schedule, bringing another full summer of college wood-bat baseball to Albemarle and the first in the Blue Ridge League.
The home season opens May 23 at home against the Marion Hungry Mothers, kicking off a strong opening stretch that also includes matchups with the Davie County Crocketts, Spartanburg County Peaches and the Greensboro Yard Goats.
June features one of the most exciting portions of the schedule, with multiple appearances from some of the league’s top-drawing clubs. The Carolina Disco Turkeys visit Albemarle several times, including a special daytime game on June 17. The Queen City Corndogs, GSO Ducks, and Carolina White Sox also highlight a busy and competitive midseason slate, while a late-June matchup against the Greenwood Flying adds to the growing regional rivalry feel across the league.
As the calendar turns to July, the Wampus Cats will host key matchups that could shape the playoff race. A July 3 game against the Corndogs leads into a strong month that includes additional visits from the Disco Turkeys, Ducks, White Sox, and Yard Goats.
The home schedule wraps up July 25 against the Crocketts, closing out what promises to be an energetic and competitive summer at Don Montgomery Park.
With a mix of returning rivals, strong brands, and fan-favorite opponents, the 2026 schedule is set up to deliver a great atmosphere all summer long in Albemarle.
All home games will be played at Don Montgomery Park. Game times, promotions, and special events will be announced soon.
The top two teams in the Blue Ridge League will face off in a best-of-three league championship series in late July.
